Neighbors Evacuate After Bomb Scare

Police say a Southern Colorado neighborhood is secure following a bomb scare Sunday afternoon. Police in Fowler evacuated the 800 block of 7th Street around 4 p.m. as a precaution.

Someone who lives there found what they thought was a pipe bomb behind their home. Police called in the bomb squad from Pueblo to safely destroy the device.

Fowler Police tell us they suspect kids could be involved in this situation and they're looking into it.
