Christmas came early for foster kids living in a group home in Colorado Springs.
The non-profit 'Kids on Bikes' donated 17 brand new mountain bikes to some very excited teenagers at Rocky Mountain Kids foster homes.
The kids were completely surprised when they came out into the backyard of the group home to find all of the new bikes lined up, with big red bows on the front.
They spared no time taking them out for a ride. They say a gift like this has never happened before, and they're grateful for the community's support.
Gabe Kruse told 11 News "when I first saw them I was like, 'oh this is sweet,' you know, like, we haven't been able to really go out and do a lot of outdoors stuff, but having a bike where you can go out and ride trails and stuff is really fun."
Since those kids all share one car, the bikes will provide them a great way to get around town and back and forth to school.
They also received helmets and bike locks, all donated to the cause.
