Despite being stabbed multiple times, police say a stabbing victim was coherent enough to give officers information on her alleged attacker.
Based on the information from the victim, Pueblo police were able to quickly arrest 25-year-old Kayla Henson.
Officers were first alerted about the incident Wednesday morning after being notified that there was a stabbing victim at a Pueblo hospital. The 49-year-old victim's injuries were not life-threatening, and she was released on the same day.
Henson has been charged with first-degree attempted murder. The investigation into the incident is unknown.
The relationship between the suspect and victim is unknown.
