Police are looking for two people who tried to kidnap a woman.
It happened at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Sage Street, near Fillmore and I-25 in Colorado Springs.
Police say a woman in her 50s was getting out of her car when she noticed a pair of headlights coming down the alley. As she was walking towards her apartment, she says the car stopped. Police say the passenger got out and grabbed the woman by the hair, then tried to force her into their car. But the woman fought back--she kicked the suspect in the knee, causing him to lose balance and let go of her. She ran to her apartment, while the suspect jumped back into the vehicle and drove off.
Police say the two suspects were possibly driving a black, older model Cadillac or Pontiac Bonneville. The suspects took off going east toward I-25.
The passenger is described as being 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and black pants. His age and race are unknown. No suspect description is available for the driver.
If you know anything about this attempted kidnapping, call police right away.
