DENVER (AP) -- Denver arson investigators are trying to determine what caused a car to erupt in flames, severely burning the driver.
Denver Fire Department spokesman Tony Berumen says witnesses told investigators said they saw a car rolling over some railroad tracks and into a field on Monday, where it came to a stop. They said a man escaping from the car was on fire.
Bystanders reportedly put out the fire and the man was taken to a hospital with severe burns.
His name and condition were not available.
