Armed Man Robs Customer at Bank

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a woman as she was trying to make a deposit at a bank.

Police say the victim was trying to put a deposit bag from a nearby business into the night deposit box at the US Bank near Palmer Park Blvd. and North Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs when a man with a gun walked up and demanded cash.

Police say another employee from the same business was in the vehicle behind the victim. That person reportedly saw the robbery and confronted the crook. The suspect threatened him with the gun and took off on foot.

No one was hurt.

The incident happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 23 years old, 5'7" to 5'9" tall with a thin build. Be was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a red bandanna over his face, black gloves and black jeans.
