Air Force-Navy Football Game Still On Despite Shutdown

Good news for Air Force Falcon fans.

The government shutdown will not affect this weekend's Air Force vs. Navy football game after all.

The game was originally expected to be another casualty of the shutdown. 11 News has now learned that planning and preparation for the nationally televised game was in place before the shutdown started, and involve non-appropriated funds.

Kickoff is at 9:30 a.m. Saturday here on KKTV.

There's no word yet on whether the Air Force-Army game in November will go on as planned.
