An Air Force Academy cadet has been jailed while investigators look into new allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
Jamil D. Cooks is in the Teller County Detention Center to ensure he is not a threat to himself or others.
Cook and another cadet, Anthony D. Daniels Jr. were first charged back in September. Cooks faces charges of attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sexual contact. Daniels faces charges of sodomy, attempted sodomy and aggravated sexual contact.
No details have been released in the new charges against Cook. He has not responed publicly to the allegations and will be in court on Dec. 18.
