A man accused of robbing a Subway restaurant in Colorado Springs was arrested Monday afternoon.

Springs police sat surveillance images from the Feb. 20 robbery helped them identify the suspect as Alexander "Eddie" Bowen. After making the images public, police say people began tipping them off that the man pictured was Bowen.

Bowen was also wanted in connection to a robbery at Black Jack Pizza on Centennial on March 17.

He was arrested Monday afternoon near Powers and North Carefree.

This isn't the first time Bowen has been in trouble with the law. Records show he has pleaded guilty to assault and drugs in the past.
