A man is accused of forging signatures on petitions asking for the recall of Colorado Senator John Morse.

The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Thursday that an arrest warrant had been filed for Nickolas Robinson. He's accused of forging at least 13 signatures on recall petitions.

The DA's warrant alleges that Robinson committed 13 counts of forgery, seven counts of perjury and 13 counts of attempt to influence a public servant in May of 2013.

Morse and Colorado Sen. Angela Giron were recalled back in September 2013 for their support of gun control measures in Colorado.

Morse lost the recall by 2 percent of the vote.
