Police say a 20-year-old was shot in the arm when an 18-year-old friend accidentally fired his dad's gun as he was showing it off.
Police say the bullet went through the victim's forearm and hit a window frame in the bedroom. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
The incident happened just after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 3000 block of Deep Haven Drive. That is near Rangewood and Woodmen.
