State Patrol says all lanes are clear after a two-car accident backed up traffic on northbound I-25 at South Academy (mile marker 135).
Injuries in this accident are unknown, but not believed to be too serious.
Southbound N. Academy near the Woodmen Valley Shopping Center is also running smoothly again after a vehicle collided with a median head-on, knocking over a sign. The left lane on southbound Academy was blocked for a short time.
Springs police are on Accident Alert Status, and are only responding to accidents that involve injuries, public property damage, or alcohol/drugs. Viewers are telling us there are a number of minor accidents around town, some blocking traffic. Drivers are advised to use caution on the roads Saturday.
Anyone involved in an accident not falling into the above list is asked to file a cold accident report within 72 hours. This can be done by clicking here or going to any police substation.
