Updated: 05/20/2013 - Two weekends left to catch one great show!
A woman in her 50s was hit by a car near Colorado Ave. and 26th in Old Colorado City.
Police say the driver of a dark green sedan was going west on Colorado when he suddenly crossed all lanes of traffic and hit a parked car. A woman was just about to get into that parked car. Her leg was injured in the accident.
One lane of eastbound Colorado is blocked.
Police say the driver got out of his car, checked to see if the woman was fine, then left his vehicle and ran away from the scene of the crash. A couple employees of a nearby shop tried to catch the man but he got away.
The driver is described as a white man about 30 years old. He has long, stringy hair. He was wearing a bowling shirt with black and orange flames. If you see him or know who he is, call police.
