After creeping up over the summer, gas prices are beginning to drop once again.
Analysts say the average price of a gallon of gas is down four cents over the past two weeks--and is 20 cents lower than it was at this time a year ago.
In Colorado Springs, the average price of gas is $3.42, almost 15 cents lower than this time last year and a few cents lower than one month ago. This is below the average price of gas for the state, which is $3.47. Colorado is ranked 17th for lowest gas prices nationally.
