A Mother's Plea to Find Her Son's Killer

Updated: Tue 10:34 PM, Sep 25, 2012

A mother tells 11 News she won't give up; she will find out who killed her son.

20 year old Tommy Kinslow was an ambitious college student. His mother says she thinks about him everday.

"He was a giant teddy bear,” Pam Kinslow said.

But in an instant that all changed. It was November 22, 2005 when Tommy Kinslow pulled into his parents driveway after work and was gunned down.

“I looked out of the bedroom window and saw him lying in the street, there was nothing I could do,” Pam Kinslow explained.

Tommy Kinslow was shot to death on Constitution Avenue, near Academy Boulevard.

His mom says she'll never forget that night.

"We wear these bracelets and buttons with his picture.”

She says the hardest part is knowing that Tommy's killer is still out there.

"I promised Tommy, I go to the cemetery and I promise him that I will find justice."

If you know anything about the murder of Tommy Kinslow, call police or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

On Monday afternoon, local families whose children have been murdered gathered for the national day of remembrance.

The event was created to honor the loved ones that were lost.
