Pueblo Police have located 49-year-old Jose Reyes, who walked away from his home on Sunday morning and hadn't been seen since. A flyer that his family posted in town with his picture on it was recognized by someone Thursday who then notified police.

He was located, alive and safe in near West C St. and Victoria Ave. in the Historic District. He was taken back to the police station to be reunited with his family.

Reyes moved to Pueblo from Utah with his family about eight months ago. He has a history of seizures and the competency of a third-grader, so it was scary for his family when he went missing. Due to his mental aptitude, Reyes’ family tries to keep him close to home.

It's not clear what made him walk off, but initially the family feared that he may have had a seizure and became disoriented.
