He hasn't taken a pro snap yet or even signed a contract, but Tim Tebow's the top-selling NFL rookie jersey of all time starting at $80 all the way up to $240 for the NFL authentic version. Now he's going to be the spokesman for Jockey underwear.

"He's got a level of attractiveness that companies are looking for in endorsers," Metro State Marketing Professor Darrin Duber-Smith said. "He's believable."

Duber-Smith said Tebow's made all the right moves on and off the field as a Florida Gator.

"He got to the highest level. He demonstrated a great deal of class not only coming back for another year -- most athletes would take the money -- he also finished college," Duber-Smith said.

Tebow signed a multi-year deal as a spokesman for Jockey underwear. The Christianity label he wears has also been a comfortable fit.

"I don't think there is going to be a backlash," Duber-Smith said.

"The Christianity thing does not really bug me, and if he can perform, that's all that really matters," Broncos fan Ibrahaim Alami said.

"I thinks he looks and presents himself well … and that's what the kids need," school teacher Linda Conway said.

There are some who aren't buying Tebow just because he's now a Bronco.

"I'm Maryland-raised and I would only do Redskins jerseys," college student Kara Beck said.

But Julian Moreno says at least Tebow's is clean.

"With Roethlisberger and other athletes, you know, getting in all that controversy, it's not good for the kids; kids look up to these guys," Moreno said.

Duane Robinson says he'll wait and see before he jumps on board.

"College and NFL are two different things," Robinson said.

Tebow has been declining interview requests while he waits for his contract with the Broncos to be finalized.
