Rampart High School students are trying to raise money to go to a festival billed as the largest assembly of percussionists in the world.

It's called the Percussive Arts Society International Convention Marching Percussion Festival. It's being held in Indianapolis in November. Drumline members hope to go to it, since the band will already be in the city to compete at the Grand Nationals competition.

It's the first drum-a-thon the Rampart High drumline has ever held.

You can stop and listen, or just drop by to give a donation to the group Thursday on the corner of Lexington and Union in Colorado Springs.
