The relocation will bring about 40 jobs to Pueblo. Deneen and Company makes and distributes a variety of food products, ranging from salsa -- to orange juice for private labels such as Marriott Hotels and Albertsons.
It also handles small producers including those in Pueblo who
grow Mirasol chilies.
Greg Deneen says the move is not related to Santa Fe's new
living wage ordinance, which mandates an $8.50
minimum wage for companies with more than 25 workers.
