About sixty residents from the Winslow Court Assisted Living Center had to be evacuated from their room because of flooding.
Workers at the center said water started pouring onto the first floor during Tuesday's heavy storms.
"By the time I got to the hallway it was 4 inches. It was up to may ankles," said Katie Napper.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department helped with the evacuations. There were no injuries reported. The center credits its staff for their quick reaction.
