A Colorado Springs jury has delivered guilty verdicts against one of two men accused of killing a Crystola couple in 2002.
Jurors convicted Michael Paprocki of all eleven counts he faced, including first-degree murder, in the deaths of 47-year-old Gary Alflen and 39-year-old Stacy Dahl.
Prosecutors say Paprocki was 20 years old when he randomly chose the couple just to see "how killing felt." Defense attorneys had claimed Paprocki was outside the house when then-16-year-old Josiah Ivy fired the fatal shots.
A competency hearing for Ivy is scheduled for October, but no trial date has been set.
Paprocki faces two mandatory life prison terms without possibility of parole when he's sentenced November 19th.
