Rain & snow showers are expected to continue, mainly along the I-25 corridor, throughout the evening and overnight hours. Accumulations are expected, though minor areas such as Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Moisture looks to move out of the area by the morning commute, though roads may be slick/wet. The Colorado Department of Transportation says Trail Ridge Road
was shut down around six a.m. due to the adverse conditions.
It reopened this afternoon.
The road is part of US Highway 34, and climbs to 12,183 feet before descending.
Forecasters say snow drifts of up to two feet have been reported
on parts of the roadway.
It's not clear how soon Trail Ridge Road might reopen.
