Six cadet-candidates at the Air Force Academy have been kicked out of school and the Air Force for their parts in an exotic dancing incident. A seventh candidate at the academy's prep school still faces
discipline, and more face possible administrative action for watching.
Officials say five male candidate cadets encouraged two female candidates to dance in the dormitory in July. The seven were pulled
out of classes and the dorm and had been working various details
while waiting for a decision on their punishment.
An academy spokesman says five of them have already left the academy.
Like the academy, admission to the Air Academy prep school is highly
competitive. Active duty personnel and civilians who applied for
admission to the academy but weren't selected can apply to attend
the school and reapply for the academy.
