I-25 Reopened In Fountain After Deadly Rollover Accident

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal one-vehicle rollover crash on I-25 in Fountain.

The crash resulted in two fatalities. A 2009 Toyota Corolla sedan was traveling northbound when it went out of control. Troopers say the Toyota traveled across both northbound lanes and rolled 2 times,
blocking both northbound lanes.

The driver, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected and sustained fatal injuries. His name is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.

A passenger in the Toyota, 20-year-old Clark Carter of Colorado Springs, sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The other passengers, 20-year-olds Ryan Biddle and Ryan Mitchell-White and 18-year-old Joshua Yates, all of Colorado Springs--were uninjured.
