A former coach of a travelling girls' basketball team is back in the state to face serious charges.
Thirty-six year-old Rick Lopez made his first appearance in a Douglas County court on Friday.
He's accused of sexually assaulting at least one player.
Lopez was arrested July 30th in Syracuse, New York and arrived in Colorado Thursday.
He coached the Colorado Hoopsters, a club team he founded about 10 years ago, but resigned last month citing personal reasons.
He was accused days later by the family of the former player.
Investigators say as many as 100 counts could be filed going back 6 years.
