The state's unemployment figure saw a slight rise for the month of July.
According to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, the jobless rate stands at 5.1% as of last month. That's up point 2 percentage points from June's numbers but down from 6.2% from the same time last year.
Nearly 15 thousand jobs were lost between June and July.
Despite the rise, the department says the rates can fluctuate monthly and the labor market still remains stable.
