A FLASH FLOOD WATCH will go into effect on Tuesday afternoon for most of Southern Colorado. Daytime heating and moisture will combine with a disturbance moving through Colorado to develop numerous thunderstorms. Any one of them will be more than capable of producing very heavy rain. Burn scars and areas that have seen recent heavy rain will be under the greatest risk for flash flooding. The 11 Breaking Weather Team will be tracking this threat all day for you.
Forty-five-year-old George Largent faces several
charges, including vehicular homicide while intoxicated and leaving
the scene of a fatal accident.
Largent was allegedly driving a vehicle that struck 16-year-old
Megan Terrill of Craig. She was walking along a road from a friend's house to her stepfather's nearby when she was hit
March Seventh. She died nine days later without waking up.
Largent originally posted 20-thousand dollars bond, and was
ordered to avoid alcohol.
He was jailed again -- and his bond raised to 60-thousand --
after being spotted drinking August Seventh.
