Joseph is way off track, the wonderful people of Colorado Springs have all teamed together to get foster/adoption homes for these unfortunate pets. You would have had to have been there to appreciate the wonders of a good community. It sometimes takes a village and these volunteers gave 100% and also brought neighbors and friends to help including many other rescue organizations. What a wonderful community we live in with very caring helping people. Some people need to get the facts before they comment.

Puppy Mills are NOT about a love for animals. Puppy mills are all about the almighty dollar. The love of money is what drives people to breed animals and put millions more in this world when there are so many healthy, loving pets that die, simply because there aren't enough homes. The pet overpopulation problem is huge and puppy mills are major contributors to that problem. Don't breed or buy while so many homeless pets die. A pet is a committment life and should be a member of the family. Unfortunately, for some people a pet is a novelty and once that novelty wears off they get rid of it. God Bless this rescue for doing what they're doing to help. And thank you KKTV for doing this very important story. So many people are moved by the plight of innocent, defenseless animals.

I think it is disgrace people are allowed to keep animals like pigs in a hog pen. Our Rescue group is fostering many of these poor animals. The puppy mills need to become illegal. I hope these people are going to jail.

The comments made by the lady that Petstores support puppy mills is totally false. There are Petstores in Colorado Springs that work through only reputable breeders and that is one of the main focus that should be considered when purchasing a puppy. I am thrilled that those puppies and dogs were rescued, but I would have to agree with Joseph in Trinidad...shouldnt all the rescues and shelters get together to help with all 60 dogs and cats?

I encourage the rescue organization to have a better website as no information is really located on their site, per KKTV referral to it. Now is their chance to gain exposure for this heinous industry and gain support for their efforts. Thanks,

Sometime's the love for animals is so great that someone's intentions might be good but they sometimes bite off more then they can chew.
