Three alleged shoplifters who tried to run over a security officer at a Kohl's store in Monument have been caught after shoplifting at a Costco store in California and reportedly attacking a security guard there with WD-40.

Several people had recognized then for allegedly robbing a Sam's Club store in Colorado. Deputies in Los Angeles County arrested the three Thursday. A Douglas County deputy had also recognized them from a previous incident.

Hugh Jimryan Wrisbon, 35, was wanted for Aggravated Robbery F3, Felony Menacing F5, Theft M3, Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender F5

Jaime Lynn Schuppan, age 25, was wanted for Aggravated Robbery F3, Felony Menacing F5 and Theft M3.

William Matthew Clark, was wanted for Aggravated Robbery F3, Felony Menacing F5 and Theft M3.

The three people were seen on surveillance tape stealing merchandise from the Kohl's. Minutes later, they tried to run down a security officer who confronted them about the incident.

If these suspects had turned over their alleged stolen goods, they would've likely been charged with misdemeanor theft, but when they allegedly threatened the officer with a weapon, they face charges of robbery and possibly attempted assault.

@ Jaime...regardless if the news story is blown out of proportion (so says the CAUGHT thief) or not, the media has every right to post. Also, being employed in retail I can firmly comment that you were wrong to do what you did. If in 2011 you are so concerned with what is posted about this 2007 incident, you would have posted your side of the story...which no one will believe because you are a known thief. You have no idea how deep one incident of theft travels. It raises prices for all consumers (including you - for what you actually pay for, that is), it affects the pay levels of the employees, it affects the earning levels of the stockholders, it affects how much the retail organizations must pay their legal teams for the filing of cases and the representation when need be, and it affects other areas also! You are only around 10 years younger than me, but people like you are what is wrong with society today. People like you are only concerned with getting what you want, when you want it. The majority of our society today has no morals or values...so thank you for contributing to that! ALWAYS think BEFORE you act.

As consumers, we pay a large premium on goods because of thefts. I am tired of paying the price for pathetic wastes of space like these three. Lock them up and throw away the key.
