(Jamul, California-AP) -- An alert campground security officer led authorities to a missing 9-year-old boy abducted earlier this week at gunpoint from his home.
Authorities say they are continuing to search for others involved in the kidnapping.
Riverside County Sheriff-elect Bob Doyle says Nicholas Farber was found inside a motor home at a campground in Jamul yesterday, about 20 miles east of San Diego. His Colorado Springs, Colorado, mother, Debra Rose, and a man with her, 48-year-old Michael J. Riley, were arrested.
Authorities say Riley is wanted on warrants involving financial crimes in Nebraska and Arizona. He is NOT considered to be one of two assailants who kidnapped Nicholas on Wednesday.
Nicholas was the subject of a custody dispute between Rose and Farber who married in 1991 and divorced in 1996.
Harold Stayton says the motor home's Florida license plate was covered by a flap. He says he rembered the description of the vehicle, checked the license plate then called police.
