Continuing to track rain/snow showers throughout southeast Colorado this morning as wet, gloomy and cool conditions continue. If you are hitting the roads in the higher elevation (Teller/Fremont/Custer/ Monument) make sure you allow a little extra time as some roads may be a little snow covered. Wet pavement remains everywhere else. We'll see rain/snow showers continue for most of our Monday, clearing out before midnight. Head on over to the "Weather" tab for a full look at the week ahead.
It was a mistake so small you probably never even caught it. Fifty-eight thousand voter information cards were sent out this week with incorrect information on it.
Some cards have the congressional and senatorial district numbers switched.
The correct version should have the number "5" on the congressional line because El Paso County is the 5th district.
But Terry Sholdt, an election official, says it won't effect your ballots for the primary or November's election.
"They can just throw it away. It's an informational card only. It doesn't require to bring it into the poll to vote. It can't be used for a voter identification card to vote."
If you still have questions or concerns about your ballot, you can call the Clerk & Recorder's Office at 575-VOTE or log-on to car.elpasoco.com/elemain.asp.
