From March 22 through March 26, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will have activities for families who want to stay in town for spring break.

Most Colorado Springs schools have their annual week-long spring vacations during the week of March 22, so the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is hosting a range of family activities.

The zoo is featuring animal behavior shows, demos and special activities throughout the week.

There is also a “Spring Break Giveaway” during March 21-27 through Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Facebook page, Twitter account and Zoo blog only. It’s a chance for social-media users to win free passes, fun prizes, get coupons, and personally connect with the Zoo. Click on the link posted after this story for more information.

I agree with you 100% Hilary. I'm a single mother myself and would love to take my children there. They love the zoo. But the price is just way to much.
