Planning on going out with friends for St. Patrick's Day? Play it safe and don't drink and drive... get a free cab ride!

Colorado State Patrol and local law enforcement will be stepping up DUI patrols, including DUI checkpoints throughout Southern Colorado. So don't take a chance and drink and drive, take a free yellow cab and say "it's on McDivitt!"

McDivitt Law Firm in Colorado Springs annually offers free taxi rides on popular drinking holidays, including St. Patrick's Day. Call 777-7777 from 7 p.m. Wednesday - 3 a.m. Thursday for your free ride.

One thing to keep in mind... free rides are only offered home... not to another bar!

Do ya'll realize that for about the cost of 3 drinks, you can get a cab ride? I think it's GREAT that McDivitt is doing this on "Special Holidays" but what about the rest of the nights where people drink and drive? Take a cab TO the bar, then you have no choice but to take one HOME from the bar. Hello people!!!! Drunk Driving KILLS people! And it usually isn't the drunk that dies!
