The publisher of The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News is considering a weekly publication aimed at Hispanics.
And another publication aimed at 18- to 39-year-olds is also in the works.
Denver Newspaper Agency spokesman Jim Nolan wouldn't offer specifics or say when the publications might begin. He did say they'll be separate from the news operations of the other papers.
The Denver Newspaper Agency publishes both dailies under a 2001 joint operating agreement. The agency handles business operations for both newspapers, but the news departments remain independent.
Nolan says the agreement allows new publications to be introduced.
The Post is owned by MediaNews Group of Denver.
The News is owned by Cincinnati-based E-W Scripps Company.
