Quinn makes it clear he wants to start
Brady Quinn was diplomatic. He wouldn't come right out and say he intends to supplant Kyle Orton as the Denver Broncos starting quarterback. But make no mistake, the newest passer at Dove Valley fully intends to be under center and not on the sideline when the 2010 season starts in six months.

Quinn said in a conference call Monday that he's thankful for a fresh start in Denver after three up-and-down seasons in Cleveland.

The Broncos acquired the former first-round draft pick from the Browns on Sunday in exchange for fullback Peyton Hillis and a pair of draft picks. Quinn passed his physical Monday.
