While some additional snow will be possible Monday morning south and southwest of Pueblo, not much additional accumulation is expected. Another 1 to 3 inches might accumulate over the Southern Sangres and along the Raton Mesa but that's about it. Otherwise, it will simply be a cool day with clouds decreasing from north to south throughout the day. Highs in the 40's to low 50's.

A ridge of high pressure will build in Tuesday and Wednesday, making for a couple of sunny and mild days (50's and 60's).

A cold front will move through Thursday night, bringing another round of winter weather Friday. Stay tuned...

Santa and his helper must be close to hypothermia by being up at the North Pole because they're both speaking crazy talk. It's obvious to me that both of them holed up in there apartments (for at least 42 years for Santa's Helper) when it snowed here in the Springs because they falsely believed that the entire city shut down. I've lived here for 15 years, I'm not afraid of the snow and guess what? When I go out for the day while it's snowing, all the businesses are open. Imagine that. But of course you have to leave your house to find that out. Good ridence to Santa and any of his helpers who left Colorado because of our type of snow and their perceptions laced with ignorance.

Lived in Colo. Spgs for 42 years and yes, people you DO close up shop for a flurry. Can't drive in the bad weather either. Everyone turns mental when it snows there.

Besides, I bet MN actually does snow removal. Sucks to be in a town that refuses to plow on secondary streets until we get six inches of snow. I remember in Chicago (granted, the Chicago mayors were voted in based on snow removal) seeing a plow go down my residential street five times one night. I can't speak from experience driving in Chicago, but I've been told that the snowstorms here act very differently than many other areas in the US. I guess overall I just don't necessarily judge others by the snow reports/school closings, I'm odd I guess! Must be nice to be high and mighty up in MN. ;)
