KKTV is taking home a string of honors from the annual Colorado Broadcasters Association Awards.
Here are some of the results:
-Station of the Year
-Broadcast Citizen of the Year Award (Betty Sexton)
-Best Anchor Team (Don Ward & Shannon Brinias)
-Best Breaking News
-Best General Hard News or In-Depth Coverage
-Best Sportscaster (Jesse Kurtz)
-Best Website
-Best Newscast 11 News at 10

The category KKTV falls under includes all stations in Colorado, excluding Denver. Which consists of Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Grand Junction. Congratulations KKTV.

Way to go KKTV! Despite Jered's remarks, I have to say I watch 11 because of the reporters. I like KOAA as well, but that news 13 mess just doesn't compare to the other big two. Talk about "shady" reporting. Anyway, love you guys. Keep up the good work!

The less and less there is of John Owens the better the station is. When they cleaned house several years ago he should have been included. He should have trailed off long ago, like he does with his senteces. Good job Jesse!
