A tragic discovery for a local family Sunday morning. Their young son, a 5 year-old boy, dead where he slept.
The boy was at home with a babysitter Saturday night while his parents were out. He went to bed feeling fine.
But when his parents tried to wake him this morning, they found he wasn't breathing. They rushed him out to the front yard where a neighbor tried to revive him. But by then, it was too late.
Several questions surround the sudden death. Police are conducting a full investigation. The autopsy is expected to take place Monday at the earliest.
His parents are receiving support and prayers from family and friends as well as their neighbors.
