A man suspected of critically injuring his own 9-month-old daughter did not show up for court this week. Authorities believed Jessie Kaizen may have fled the state. Booking records at the El Paso County CJC show Kaizen is an inmate at the jail as of Saturday.

Police have not released any details of his capture.

Kaizen was arrested in November of 2009 for his role in causing life-threatening injuries to his then 9-month-old daughter.

Kaizen was in court in Colorado Springs the morning of Thursday, March 11th. The court was considering revoking his bond on his original charge of attempted murder. He did not return following a short break.

Court papers show Kaizen and the mother of his daughter are suspected of drug use and seriously injuring their baby.

Booking information indicates Kaizen is due back in court next week.
