While it is doubtful that anybody sees heavy snow overnight, there will be enough to accumulate lightly and could create some slick roads by Monday morning. Hate the rain? So do the mosquitoes. Which may be the reason why the West Nile Virus hasn't spread so quickly so far this year.
But health officials say that could change quickly. The extra water could mean more standing water which provide breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
Last year, the state led the nation with nearly 3 thousand reported cases of West Nile Virus. Only 14 human cases have been reported so far this year.
