Graffiti on a jury member's car in Pueblo has resulted in a mistrial for a man accused of intimidating the mother of a drive-by shooting victim.

After the mistrial Wednesday, the defendant pleaded guilty to harassment and prosecutors dropped charges of intimidating a witness.

Twenty-year-old Kenneth Christopher Casados Jr. was then sentenced to two years of probation and 50 hours of community service.

Casados and two others were accused of yelling gang slurs as they drove past the home of a woman whose 19-year-old son was shot to death a few days earlier. No one has been arrested in the shooting, which occurred Aug. 12.

Prosecutors say they don't believe the graffiti on the juror's car was related to the shooting but they couldn't be sure.

Nice.. no jail time and hardly any community service. I'm sure the mom of the murder victim really appreciated that.
