Pueblo police are warning residents about a sexually violent predator that is moving to the area. Twenty-six-year-old Frank Gallegos will be residing on the 600 block of west 8th street.

Gallegos is 5'09" tall, weighs 130 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he goes by Lucky Gallegos and Frankie Gallegos. He reportedly has a couple of tattoos. He has 3 dots near his left eye, a "Playboy bunny" on his chest, "Frank" on his stomach, "13" on his upper right arm, a skull on his upper left arm.

Gallegos is reportedly a self-employed carpet cleaner.

Pueblo police say he supplied underage females with alcohol and drugs, then sexually assaulted them as part of a gang initiation.

There are approximately 10,974 sex offenders registered in Colorado and approximately 502 currently registered within the city of Pueblo.

Ryan: The article doesnt say he is on the loose it says that he is moving to the area. And they warn the public about people with his type of criminal history because of the high chance of re-offending. And unfortunately he probably got a very "harsh"sentencing if he was in prison for at least 5 years... And they have no choice now but to let him out cuz he served his time. Makes sense right? And I am assuming that he served five years cuz it said he bought alcohol for the girls... and you have to be 21 to do that. Or did he break another law there? Hmmm maybe that will get him another 2 years?

Ryan-- The answer is B--They are warning the community that the person has been released on parole and will live at that address; because of recent stipulations that the community has a right to know when a sex offender has been released and will be residing near others. I agree with you, if there's still concern that he will harm society then the system is flawed and he should remain in prison.

Ok, forgive me for my probably ignorant question: If this violent predator is on the loose, how do they know where he will be residing...? It's like saying well we have a murderer out aroudn toown - he'll be on this street corner tonight at 9PM, call us when you see him... ??? I can think of two reasons as to why: A. This story is an error/joke. B. The system will give warnings to citizens when they release a harmful and active sexual predator from prison, which is even worse because it admits that he is unfit for soceity, yet he was released...? Conclusion: I am either the lone intelligent one left or I'm missing a major premise.
