More details are emerging about the shooting early Tuesday at Ohio State University in Columbus, where officials say a custodial worker shot two co-workers -- killing one of them -- before taking his own life.
They say the shooter, Nathaniel Brown, had been hired in October, and that he had recently received a poor performance evaluation.
Officials say he arrived for work with two handguns in a backpack, and shot the two colleagues in a campus maintenance building.
No students were hurt, and classes went on as scheduled.
One of the victims died at the scene. The other is in stable condition at a hospital. The gunman was pronounced dead at a hospital several hours later.
Officials say more than a half-dozen employees were in the maintenance building when the shooting occured.
