More resources are being dedicated to the pothole problem in Colorado Springs.

The city's Street Division has increased the number of crews in an effort to get caught up with all the pothole requests.

Right now, the city has about 200 requests for potholes to be filled.

"We took other crews off maintenance projects and put them on this until we can get this to a manageable number that we can work with," said Project Supervisor Bill Moritz.

The project supervisor says he prioritizes which potholes get fixed first based on the location and volume of traffic.

If you want to report a pothole in Colorado Springs, you can call and leave a message on the city's 24-hour hot line. The number is 385-6808.
