Colorado Springs Police say the woman found dead in a business Monday afternoon was shot in the head, and they're now calling her death a homicide. She's been identified as 56-year-old Yong Glenn.

Rendell Jefferson, who works nearby, says Glen owned the tailor shop in which she was found dead, near Maizeland and North Academy.

"She was the cutest little wonderful lady in the world," said Jefferson. "She would do anything for us."

Glenn was found inside Yong's Tailor Shop with what police first would only call an "obvious and severe" injury to her head. A customer walked in to the shop at about 1:30 p.m. and found her.

Jefferson says the victim was her landlord, and she knew her for about four years.

"Her husband just passed away. Now she's passed away. It's really sad. They were wonderful people."

"We're looking for surveillance video from other businesses in the area," says Colorado Springs Police Sgt. Steve Noblett.

A worker at a grocery store that is next door to Yong's tells 11 News, "Around noon, I heard an explosion. It was scary," says Lorena Quiroz. She didn't figure out where that sound came from.

One of her regular customers is Phil Allison. He is heartbroken over her death. He saw her just minutes before she was murdered, "Very pleasant, she was smiling and laughing and as I was getting ready to leave she said goodbye and have a nice day, and I got in my car and drove off," says Allison.

Police say Glenn's car is missing. They are looking for a Nissan Pathfinder with Colorado License plate 584 OMI. A "Quick Gym" sticker in on the back of the vehicle. If you see it around town, call police at 444-7000 or you can remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.

It's been 1 year today. So sad. I was a friend and business associate. Only being 100 yards from her business and still can't believe this could happen to such a nice person. Times have changed and doors must be locked to protect ourselves. RIP
