A woman accused in the drowning deaths of her two young children will stand trial on first-degree murder charges next year.
A judge today set a trial date for 33-year-old Rebekah Amaya.
Authorities say Amaya drowned four-year-old Grace Headlee and five-month-old Gabriel Amaya in a bathtub last October 16th.
Rebekah Amaya has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity.
She reportedly told police that she killed her children after receiving a sign from a spider, but a judge ruled five months ago that she is fit to stand trial.
That trial is scheduled to begin January 31st, 2005.
