Two people have been taken to a Longmont hospital after their plane went down and caught fire near the Boulder/Weld County line Thursday morning.

The vintage Beechcraft C-45 crashed about 9:15 a.m. under unknown circumstances.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer in Seattle said it's not clear where the plane originated or where it was going.

The plane was built in 1951, and is owned by the American Airpower Flying Museum in Midland, Texas.

Other details are not immediately available.
