Major Crimes is investigating the case of a missing woman. 22-year-old Jaclyn Funderburg was last seen Wednesday night.

She worked at the Wendy’s at Stetson Hills Blvd. Her co-workers say when she didn't show up for work on Thursday morning they became concerned and filed a missing persons report.

"She's never done anything like this," said Funderburg’s co-worker Matthew Ferro.

Ferro says the last time they saw their friend was Wednesday when she came to Wendy's.

"I saw her leaving in her ex's car, that was the last person we saw her with," said Ferro.

Friends say Funderburg and her ex have had a volatile past, which has concerned them on more than one occasion. Heather Townend says when Funderburg and her 10-month old son needed help back in April, they moved in with her and her husband.

"She always took house keys with her and she'd never just not show up," said Townend.

She says Funderburg left the apartment Wednesday afternoon to run a couple errands.

"I don't think she knew she was going to be gone that long, I think she knew she was coming back and so she left Jonathon in the crib," Townend said.

But she never came home.

"She always had Jonathon everywhere she went,” said Townend.

Police say they are investigating whether or not Funderburg was involved in some kind of fight Wednesday night, but they are not saying whether that dispute is related to her disappearance.

Her friends are just praying that she's ok.

"I hope she's still out there alive, I hope she comes back, Jonathon needs her," Townend said.

"It's just really hard, she has a 10-month old son, she wouldn't leave him this long," said Funderburg’s co-worker Bobette Lopez.

She is described as 5’, 6,” 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Funderburg currently has her jaw wired shut because of an injury she suffered about a month ago.

11 news has learned that Funderburg's ex-boyfriend has been arrested, he's being held without bond on second degree assault charges, but we have not confirmed if this is connected to Funderburg's disappearance.

If you have any information on where Funderburg might be, call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 444-7000.
