The Colorado-based religious organization Focus on the Family is offering recordings of an interview with David Berkowitz -- the ``Son of Sam'' killer who says he's become a Christian behind bars.
Focus on the Family recorded the interview in March.
Associate producer Scott Welch says he believes in Berkowitz's message of redemption.
But Berkowitz's contrition rings hollow with relatives of his victims.
Michael Lauria, whose 18-year-old daughter Donna Lauria was the first victim, says he's outraged Berkowitz is permitted to regularly discuss spiritual matters on his Web site, with the help³of a San Diego church.
Focus on the Family is offering the Berkowitz interview on cassette for a suggested donation of seven dollars, or nine dollars for a CD.
A 51-year-old former postal worker, Berkowitz killed six people and wounded seven others beginning in 1976.
