A Littleton man, charged with breaking into an animal shelter, stealing several puppies, and setting them on fire, says he's not guilty.
Nineteen-year-old Ryan Turtura was arraigned Monday for arson, burglary, criminal mischief, theft and cruelty to animals.
Investigators say he stole puppies from the Colorado Humane Society on Feb. 16. Three were bound with duct tape and burned. One of them survived, and has since been adopted.
Turtura faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.=
